Participants / TraineesIf you are looking for a job, an apprenticeship, an internship, or life skills trainings, you have come to the right place! Transpire offers all of this and more! Current homeless people registered with 211.org may apply for our Project Rebuild Apprentice Program which works toward building your own home in the first three months here. (form with name, dob, way to get ahold of them, reason they think they are a good candidate for a free home). People looking to enhance their job eligibility must first attend 10 hours of our WAYS training program to be considered for additional trainings, mentorships, and internships by Transpire and our partners. These programs are usually held in the afternoons from 4-6pm and will be resuming as soon as we establish an East Bay site. People who have homes but would like to learn hands on trade skills may also work with our Apprenticeship program by signing up here. (same as homeless program but instead of why they deserve a free home, why they deserve to be paid when they don’t know how to do the work).
Non-ProfitsTraining Partners, Internship and Volunteer Partners are other non-profits who want to help us create ideal training modules, allow our youth to practice their new skills by offering either long-term internships or opportunities to volunteer for events, or have resources such as training rooms and grants that they would like to contribute towards our program. If you are a non-profit who fit any of those criteria or are in need of our services, please contact us! In return you get:
- Free, trained Volunteers!
- Brand loyalty at earliest stages of development.
- Opportunities for marketing exposure.
- Consistent help in administrative types of roles.
- Opportunity to help guide training modules.
Would you like to volunteer with Transpire Foundation to make the world a better place for at risk youth and the homeless? Do you have some specific skills you’d like to use? Tell how us how below!!
AdvocatesAs an advocate for Transpire Foundation, you will be the face and voice of our programs. You will know everything there is to know about what we do and how we help, and then get the word out. When City Councils get together, you will be our eyes and ears so we know what they need to be comfortable with our programs. You will be going to schools to talk to the clubs about how they can make a difference in their own neighborhoods and invite them to lend a hand. Your outreach is our impact and success. It takes a little bit of training, a lot of heart, and whatever time you are willing to give it.
OrganizationsYou need to help your residents get jobs, and that is what we do best. You get a group of candidates to come one or two times a week in the late afternoon or evening for a couple hours five times, and we meet them at your facility to help them write exceptional resumes, learn key interviewing skills, and develop other soft skills essential for keeping their jobs. As of the end of 2018, 92% of HUD participants seeking jobs who attended 80% of the classes in Transpire’s program got jobs within two weeks of finishing it.
Let your newest applicants join your team with even stronger skills by partnering with Transpire to design a training program that will help them succeed at their new jobs. By giving applicants the option to attend a free (to them) one or two day live online or live on-site training before their interview, you find out who is really serious about working for you, and they start their first day with a stronger set of soft skills for whatever job they get next.”
